About Baulkham Hills

Local History

The original inhabitants of the area are the Bidjigal people. The Bidjigal Reserve protects many famous landmarks connected to these original settlers of the area, including ancient rock shelters, and a midden dated to over 10,000 years ago, evidence of the oldest human settlement in the Sydney area.
